All courses require a minimum of four students in order to run. In a case where a course becomes full before the scheduled start date or does not have the minimum number of four students, it may be re-scheduled on a different(earlier or later) date and time in order for the course to run. In a case where a course is cancelled due to low enrollment numbers, all remaining paid fees will be refunded or credited toward another appropriate course of your choice.

| Complete Beginner Course: | ||||||||
| This course is designed for students who have never learned Japanese before and want to have solid basics of Japanese language. We will cover all language skills including speaking, listening, writing and reading. After completing lessons, you can read and write all Hiragana, Katakana. You will learn typical greeting expressions, how to introduce yourself, basic conversation patterns used in restaurants and stores. Please see the syllabus | ||||||||

| Beginner Course N1, N2, N3, N4, N5, N6: | ||||||||
| This course is designed for students who have completed our "Complete Beginner Course" or people who have already learned Japanese in the past and want to brush up their Japanese. We will review the basics in the first lesson so that you can resume learning Japanese smoothly. After completing all courses, you can ask or give permission, make offers and invitations, explain reasons and express your thoughts and opinions in Japanese. Please see the syllabus | ||||||||

| Focus on Speaking Course : | ||||||||
| This course is designed for students who want to focus only on oral skills. You will not learn Japanese writing system in this course, though you will spend more time practicing conversation. The level of this course is the same as our "Complete Beginner Course." This course may fit students who plan to go to Japan for business (e.g. Jet Program) or pleasure soon but don't have enough time to learn Japanese. | ||||||||

| Intermediate Course I & II : Currently no scheduled | ||||||||
| This course is designed for students who already learned basic Japanese grammar with a textbook, e.g. Genki I & II and want to improve all skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) to the advanced level. The course will introduce more complex language structures such as embedded sentences and style differences (polite vs. plain). The students will learn with a newly developed textbook, "Tobira" as well as its online material. The students will learn various speech patterns through a Japanese movie. | ||||||||

| JLPT Level 2 & 3 Preparation Course I : Currently no scheduled | ||||||||
| This course is designed for students who have already studied Japanese at least for two years and are aiming to take Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT, Level 2 or Level 3) in December, 2010. This course covers all parts of the test including grammar, vocabulary, Kanji, reading and listening. In the first series, Course I, you will review essential grammar and vocabulary including Kanji to build up the basics for each level. The subsequent course, which will start from October, you will work on actual test examples and be well-prepared for the test format. | ||||||||

| Japanese for Teenagers : Currently no scheduled | ||||||||
| This is a special summer program designed for secondary school students who are interested in Japanese language and Japanese pop culture. You will learn basic Japanese as well as casual expressions used in Anime. You can learn what language is actually spoken among young Japanese and what is only in Anime world. | ||||||||

| Private Tutoring Course: | ||||||||
| QLS Private tutoring is designed for people who need to learn Japanese quickly, but have to work around a busy schedule. Individual Instruction offers the most flexibility and convenience. During each private tutoring you will learn at your own pace on your schedule. The instruction can even be customized to meet your own specific needs. We can provide tutoring for students using "Genki Series", "Minna no Nihongo" or "Japanese for Busy People". When you have very specific time and curriculum requirements, our private tutoring is the right choice. | ||||||||

| Semi Private Course: | ||||||||
| QLS Semi Private Course is designed for students wishing to take part-time instruction on a short-term basis. By limiting the class to two students it enables you to gain maximum benefit from a short course. Semi Private course allows you to reduce the cost, while providing plenty of individual attention and speedy coverage of course material. 75% of the price of Private tutoring course, you will also have more opportunity to practice your speaking in a class. In order for us to arrange semi-private course, you are required to bring your friend or partner you want to study with. Preferably someone with almost the same Japanese language skills as yours. | ||||||||
